GiftWorks
Project Summary

GiftWorks was co-founded by partners Laurie Lee and Amber Khan who have a distinct passion for saving lives through organ transplants. By partnering with transplant centers around the country they needed materials to provide to those interesting in their offerings.

Once their branding was established, they used Outset to produce many, many materials to support their life-saving efforts.

Having a chance to work with a team who is literally saving lives through organ transplants has been a very rewarding experience for both of us.

Challenge

At the beginning, GiftWorks had a placeholder logo and everything was co-branded with a pilot program partner at the University of Utah health. This both helped and made developing the brand a little tricky. By straddling the Utah brand guidelines the GiftWorks guidelines took some time to define.

Outcome

After a successful pilot program where they were able to find over 25 living donors for those that needed them, there has been more and more opportunity to extend the GiftWorks brand with their own materials alongside the co-branded materials that we have been developing since 2022.
